HAPPY BIRTHDAY RIVER!!

River Emalene Collier arrived today! Friday, November 2, 2007 at 8:22pm. She weighed in at 6 lbs., 7 oz. and measured 19 inches long. . and perfect.

Absolutely perfect.

.

Mother and baby are doing just fine.

.

Thanks to all of our family and friends for the prayers, gifts and kind words. It's been a long, long day. Here are some pics. More will follow.

The Adventure Begins..

So we arrived at the hospital this morning at 6:30am where it was quickly discovered that our baby is no longer in a breech presentation. So guess what? No C-section today. Now we wait for nature to run its course.

There will be no special deliveries today.

I'll keep you posted.

Tomorrow

Our best Halloween ever is just a few hours away;

------------ a little bit scary. .

-------------------- and a whole bunch of wonderful.

Did I mention that Halloween is also our 8th Wedding Anniversary? Until this year, that was the best Halloween ever. (And yes, at the time, a little scary too.)

Trick or Treat?

The date is set. River is scheduled to be delivered via c-section on October 31st. It looks like she just might be a Halloween baby. Of course, she may decide to come before then but having an actual date to focus on seems to have put JoAnna's mind at ease.

According to today's checkup and ultrasound, River is now 6lbs, 3 oz and has a full head of hair. . and I'm pretty sure I saw her wave and say "Hi Dad."

(Maybe I just imagined that last part.)
