4th Birthday Celebration Part 1

"River, would you like to have lunch at Chuck E. Cheese's for your birthday?"

At four years old, I think I would have been afraid of this thing.

Afterward, a quick trip to Toys R' Us.. and then pass out on the way home.  Life is good.

FOUR!!


I expect a call from Dancing With The Stars at any time.

Where does the time go?  In the blink of an eye, 1,461 days have passed and my little wiggly baby burrito that was handed to me by a nurse on November 2, 2007 has turned four years old!  Everyday seems to go faster than the one before it.  Each with the blessings of a wonderful daughter. 

Thank you, River and happy birthday.



Getting big but still, for now, not much bigger than a smurf.  A little more than three apples high.

Strawberries and Flowers

A few times a year we will make our way to Bray Orchards to enjoy whatever is in season at the time.  Mid May through mid June is Strawberry time!  My favorite! 

The first time we brought River here for Strawberry season was two years ago.  She was 18 months old and nearly wiped out all the strawberries we purchased on the way home.  When we pulled into the driveway, she was sound asleep with a mouth and hands stained pink with juice and a content smile on he face.

She still loves the strawberries.

.. and much is just as it was 101 years ago.

This part will go on for hours.  All weekend actually.

Strawberries can get heavy.

Time to head home for some strawberry shortcake!

We'll be back in six weeks for Peach Season!!!

Ah, the life of a model is a difficult one.  Having to wake up at the crack of 1pm.. the constant hounding of fans and admirers.. fashion designers always begging you to wear their latest creations.. etc.

It's a burden but River manages.  Somehow.
